Packers and Movers Business Sucks?
Being in Packers and Movers for over 2 decade still figuring out how to run it successfully. Though we have earned the reputation and created a brand name but profitability is going down every year. I started my research about year ago still looking for an answer.
When i put this question to my competitors, they had same points that crossed my mind
Suggestion- New Entrants in the business
My Reply- In the past 5 years in Bangalore,India we have seen about 300 more new entrants, not necessarily new people in business only new establishment same people doing the business but with a new Name and New Website.
Suggestion- How could that make a difference -
My Reply-Yes, every year new website added the position of my website is loosing on the search engine position that affects the new visitor landing on the page. Not Satisfied with this i still looking for why business is not profitable.
Suggestion- Operational Cost Gone Up
My Reply- So is our price then how does it matters.How does it matters.
Suggestion- Customers are Smart
My Reply- They have always been smart
Suggestion- Entry of aggregate company Like Urbanclap, Pikkol ,Nobroker
My Reply- Yes, they make marginal difference in short period of time, But in long run will that matter.
I am Still Looking reason for Why it is no more profitable to Run a Packers and Movers Business, is it same across Globe Please reply.
